Over the years, the Doha Women Forum has evolved into a dynamic movement dedicated to empowering women. What started as a yearly assembly of women from diverse backgrounds has become a springboard for ideas and action which aim to push more young girls and women to actively participate in various initiatives driven by the forum.

Where It All Began

Launched in 2015, the Doha Women Forum began as a bold vision: to create a space where women could learn, share, and grow together.

From its earliest days, DWF brought together women from different cultures, sectors, and stories—offering them access to expert knowledge, meaningful inspiration, and authentic connection.

What started as an annual gathering has since evolved into a launchpad for ideas, leadership, and action. Today, it continues to spark transformation by encouraging young girls and women to step forward, get involved, and become active forces for change in their lives and communities.
